Seeing more than someone's faults

friends30718454.jpgSeeing someone's faults is easy. Name a person and I can tell you in a matter of minutes the things about them that I do not like. We all have this canny ability to recognize all of the bad in people, however, this article focuses on how to see more than someone's faults, and start seeing their good qualities and attributes as well. The following are five things you can do see more in someone than their faults:
1. Taking time to get to know them. You will never be able to see past someone's faults if you do not get to know who they are. Faults are easier to spot than good attributes, so if you want to find those, you have to look deeper than the surface. The reason many people do not is that it takes effort and a lot of hard work. However, it can be a really enjoyable process as well. You can have a lot of fun in the process while hanging out, and doing things you both enjoy.
2. Spending time with them in many different situations. Have you ever been caught in a bad day? Would you like that one situation or day to be what defines you forever? No, so be very careful not to do that to others. Give them a chance to show you their other sides. You have to give people the benefit of the doubt, and spend time with them under various circumstances, so that you can see past their faults, and their reactions, to who they actually are. If you see them in their best element it will be easy to spot their positive qualities, so give yourself and them that chance.
3. Look for the best in them. If you want to see beyond someone's faults, you have to look for it. So, keep your eye open for things other than their faults. It is easy to pounce on someone's problems, but unless you make their positive attributes your focus, then you won't find them.
4. Ask them what they like about themselves. If you are having trouble getting through their faults to see things that are positive, ask them what they think their positive traits are. What you might see as stubbornness, and think is a bad thing, they might look at as a good thing because it might mean sticking to their beliefs. If you listen to what they like about themselves, you can take cues from it, and figure out that you like that too.
5. Have fun together. It is easy to see someone's faults if the time you spend with them is uncomfortable, or unhappy. However, when you are out having fun, and you seriously enjoy their company, it is harder to remember their faults.
It is not always easy to find things you like in others, but it is worth taking the time to stop looking at people's faults, and start looking for the good in them.

Hair care in wintertime

As the winter is approaching, our hair starts to behave differently and everyone starts to complain: “my hair looks messy, dry with split ends - I can’t do anything with them!”
Hair easily becomes dry during this time of year. It happens under the influence of the dry indoor heating and dry cold weather outside. Cold winter air is drying more and humid less. Indoor heating devices are the reason why air becomes dry. A humidifier can help by adding moisture to the air. You can simply leave a pot of water on your stove, and waters steaming into the air, this will prevent dandruff as well.
But it’s just the one from many things that could help to keep your hair more healthy. Here are some more tips for your hair protection during wintertime:

Cold, snow, strong winds are very harmful for your hair. Therefore always wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from all damaging winters’ effects. But make sure that all headdresses were not so tight that it will restrict circulation in your scalp, also do not use hats without protecting your hair with a silk scarf. Before you put on a hat, always remember to put on some nourishing conditioner. It will be like a conditioning treatment.

Adding moisture to your hair is especially important at this time of year. Look for products with cetearyl and cetyl alcohols. Both are structurally similar, derived from coconut. They are the best moisturizing agents for conditioner, shampoo. If your hair is very damaged or dry, you should use a moisturizing shampoo as well. After using a good product that does moisturize hair you want to be sure to lock that moisture in. A cold or cool rinse helps close the cuticle down and seal in the moisture.

Deep conditioning is vital and irreplaceable for parched winter locks. Most stylists recommend deep conditioning minimum once a week. Choose a moisturizer rich in humectants and natural oils. Use a conditioner daily.
Concentrate the conditioner on hair ends. Wash it under the shower, than leave it hanging down. As part of your hair care, do a final rinse in cold water – it’s a secret for extra shine to your hair. Don't rinse your conditioner out purely. Leave in about 25 - 30 % of the conditioner; also leave a little conditioner in the ends. Be careful not to satiate the hair too much with hair care products. And remember, never brush your hair when it is wet and also never go outside with your hair wet, you risk breakage!
Don't wash your hair too often during the winter season – you are risking depleting natural oils. If usually you shampoo every three days, so in wintertime shampoo once a week. Advisable massaging the scalp with light oils like jojoba, olive, avocado or shea tree butter. Massage a quarter teaspoon of warm natural oil through your hair once a week. Leave on overnight.
Try to avoid excessive use of "hot" items on your hair such as blow dryers and curling or straightening irons. If you need to use a "hot" item use a leave in conditioner before using the item on your hair, be sure to use a thermal protectant and also advisable diffusing it on low heat, concentrating on the roots.
Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water, because it’s making your hair dry out and became damaged. Use warm or cool water instead.
Unhappily, but long hair has to be trimmed to bring life back to limp hair and to stay healthy looking. Do it every six weeks and you will ensure your split ends won't travel up the hair shaft.
Drink a lot of water for internal hydration and take vitamins, specific to hair health. This suggestion is none the less as therefore mentioned.
